• Monitoring of the firing efficiency

The ecom-SGP emission analysis system is designed in particular for operators of industrial furnaces. With its impressive equipment it makes a wide variety of applications possible, such as the internal monitoring of pollution emissions, function checks of pollution-reducing process engineering equipment, the monitoring of the optimum firing efficiency and the operational reliability of firing installations, as well as the check of the measuring and control equipment present.

A gas removal and preparation technology geared specifically to electrochemical sensors improves the long-term stability and measuring accuracy. The gas preparation technology of the emission analysis system is fully integrated. It consists of conveyance, filtration, cooling and drying of the measuring gases and the controls for the heated measuring gas line and the heated probe head. With this equipment analysis is possible in quasi-continuous measuring operation and the automated sequence of emission measurements. The device has been suitability-tested by TÜV Bayern-Sachsen e.V., AMU Department, for the NO and NO2 channels according to DIN 33962 “Measurement of gaseous emissions - Automatic measurement systems for single measurements of nitrogen monoxide and nitrogen dioxide“ and for the O2, CO and SO2 channels with reference to DIN 33962 and it is approved under the registration number 4E002 by DIN CERTCO for unit measurements.

Check of existing measuring and control equipment
The variety of the measuring variables makes possible both the function test of a wide variety of existing measuring devices and the detection of concealed defects, e.g. in sampling. With the measuring system, which can be calibrated simply on site with the software, it is possible to reliably determine reference and control values.

Easy-to-manage operation and programming
The keyboard is of manageable design and is also up to difficult use conditions. It facilitates very easy operation and use of the measuring device. Menu-controlled software guides the user through all inputs and shows on the back-lit display the results as a list of measured values, as a table of mean values over the integration period selected or as a condition notification. With the program sequence and input possibilities a completely self-monitored, automatic operation is possible.

Monitoring of the firing efficiency
In addition to the regular services of industrial furnaces it is possible with exhaust gas analyses to monitor and document the optimum fuel utilization, the effectiveness of pollutant-reducing process engineering and operational reliability.

Sensor system with intelligent signal processing
To protect against overload of the electrochemical sensors due to short-duration values outside the measuring range (e.g. in the case of emission peak values) the program monitors the output signals and, if required, signals individual or all sensors to fresh air supply. A permanent plausibility test for the mean value calculation is conducted on the basis of an O2 limit for which parameters can be set.
