Thanks to state-of-the-art radio technology with the ecom-J2K, it is possible to conduct measurements and setting jobs independently of the structural circumstances and the position of the flue. The device consists of a compact base unit with the entire measuring technology and a removable operating part. The base unit can be radio-controlled via this operating part (frequency 868 MHz, range approx. 50m).
The equipment of the ecom-J2K includes an integrated printer and measured value memory for more than 1500 measurements (extendable by means of multi-media cards). The tried-andtested condensate trap – combined with electronic position monitoring and automatic condensate disposal – reliably prevents the ingress of moisture and so prolongs the service life of the sensors. The CO sensor is protected by a separate contaminant filter; if the concentration is too high it is switched off automatically.
Removable control module with radio transmission
Thanks to the removable control module the ecom-J2K can be recommended in particular for use in larger installations. The base unit is set up with the complete measuring equipment directly at the measuring point (exhaust gas pipe), while the mobile control module can be taken to adjust the burner or check plant components.
The generously dimensioned pump ensures a high level of operational reliability. It can also withstand heavy-duty conditions and guarantees an adequate supply of measuring gas to the sensor system at all times. The volumetric flow delivered by the pump is measured continuously and can therefore be checked constantly by the user.
Contaminant filter for CO sensor
A separate contaminant filter removes substances harmful to sensors, such as NO, NO2 and SO2. This ensures a sustainable extension of the CO sensor's service life. Such a protection is indispensable with high concentrations of NO, NO2 and SO2, such as may arise in gas and diesel engines.
Automatic condensate drainage
An automatic condensate disposal facility protects the measuring device from the ingress of harmful condensate; this is especially important in installations where a large amount of condensate arises, e.g. gas condensation installations.
The level indicator in the condensate tank activates the condensate pump when the switching threshold is reached.
The condensate is then taken out of the tank before it can damage the moisture-sensitive sensors.
Flexible data memory using multi-media cards
With the ecom-J2K measured values can be saved on multi-media cards (up to a size of 128 MB) - point measurements as well as data logger records.
Values from point measurements are registered in a text file and data logger records in a csv file.
Both data types have the same structure and can be imported into Excel without difficulty.
